Brian Gargiulo, MBE

Chairman – LaManna Premier Group
With over 30 years of Board experience, Brian was awarded an MBE for services to horticulture in 1986 and is a lifetime Canterbury greenhouse tomato and raspberry grower. Past appointments and directorships include service on the Market Gardeners Limited (MG) Board for 36 years, 25 years as Chairman, Director of Horticulture NZ, President of the NZ Vegetable and Potato Growers’ Federation and Council Member of Lincoln University Board. Brian is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.

Anthony Di Pietro

Group CEO and Director – LaManna Premier Group
Anthony is the Group Chief Executive Officer of LaManna Premier Group (LPG). Anthony was appointed CEO of the Premier Fruits Group in 2003, and appointed the LPG Group CEO in July 2016 following the merger of the LaManna Group and Premier Fruits Group. Anthony is also the Chairman of Melbourne Victory Football Club competing in Australia’s elite national football competition, the Hyundai A-League.

Duncan Pryor

Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary – Market Gardeners Limited
Secretary to the Board – LaManna Premier Group
Duncan joined MG in 1996 as the Company Accountant, having previously been an Audit Manager with Deloitte. In the same year, he took on the MG roles of Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer. In 2003 MG acquired a shareholding in the LaManna Group and Duncan took on the role of Secretary to the Board.

Bruce R Irvine, B Com, LLB, CA

Chairman – Market Gardeners Limited
Director – LaManna Premier Group
Bruce joined the MG Board in 1994 and was elected Chairman in 2017. Bruce has extensive business background, including the role of Managing Partner of the Christchurch office of Chartered Accountants, Deloitte, between 1995 and 2007. Bruce is a Director of Heartland Bank, PGG Wrightson and a number of other public and private companies.

Andrew Fenton

Deputy Chairman – Market Gardeners Limited
Director – LaManna Premier Group
Andrew joined the MG Board in 2002 and was elected Deputy Chairman in 2017. Andrew has more than 35 years in the avocado and kiwifruit industry with the Bay of Plenty-based Phoenix Partnership and Beresford Orchards Ltd, is a Director of New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority, Kiwifruit New Zealand, President of the NZ Fruitgrowers’ Federation, Chairman of the NZ Fruitgrowers’ Charitable Trust, a member of the NZ Fruitgrowers’ Inc. and Chairman of Huddart Parker Building Co. Ltd.

Peter Hendry

Chief Executive Officer – Market Gardeners Limited
Director – LaManna Premier Group
Peter joined MG in 1998 as a key account manager in the Auckland branch, having worked previously with a major New Zealand supermarket operator. He went on to manage the branch and became National Operations Manager before being appointed General Manager in 2005 and Chief Executive Officer in 2011.

Mark LoGiudice

Director – LaManna Premier Group
Mark joined the Premier Fruits Group Board in 2006 and joined the LPG Board in 2016 following the merger. Mark is a Director of Crawfords Group, a property development, management and investment company. Mark was elected to the Board of the Australian Football League’s Carlton Football Club in 2010 and was elected Club President in 2014.

Dean Gall

Chief Operating Officer – LaManna Premier Group
Dean joined the Group in 2003 during which time he has held a diverse range of responsibilities across many areas and functions of the business. In his current role as Chief Operating Officer, Dean is responsible for Business Unit performance, and has Executive responsibilities across key accounts and the strategic development of LPG core product categories.

Mark Plymin

Chief Financial Officer- LaManna Premier Group
Mark joined LPG in 2017, having worked with Xtralis, a world leader in very early warning safety and security solutions, in the roles of Director Strategic Finance and CFO APAC. Prior experience includes more than 10 years with Exxon Mobil in various roles including Chief Financial Officer – Retail and Joint Venture Manager.

Simon Hardie

Chief Commercial Officer – LaManna Premier Group
Simon joined the Group in 2010 and has over 30 years’ finance and management experience in a range of companies, including large scale listed agricultural and property development companies, finance, investment and insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications and residential property development.

Glen Thompson

General Manager – Farming & Banana Category – LaManna Premier Group
Glen joined the Group in 2003 during which time he has held a diverse range of responsibilities across many areas and functions of the business including Chief Executive Officer of the LaManna Group until the merger with the Premier Fruits Group in 2016. In his current role as General Manager Farming & Banana Category, Glen is responsible for the national farming operations and leads the Group Banana Category.

Jo Minton-Connell

General Manager- Human Resources- LaManna Premier Group
Jo joined the Group in 2013 and has over 20 years’ experience of a broad range of HR disciplines in both private and public, national and multinational companies across a broad range of industry sectors including corporate services, engineering and industrial sales.
