Message from the LaManna Premier Group, Group CEO, Anthony Di Pietro

The year 2020 has been fraught with challenges. First, the tragic Australian bushfires, and now, the global Coronavirus pandemic.

As we continue to evolve in response to these challenges, it remains certain that feeding our nation is an essential service, and we continue to consistently deliver safe and healthy fresh produce.

At LaManna Premier Group, our commitment to achieve best possible outcomes for our growers, employees, and consumers has remained, and two key priorities have led us through these uncertain times;

  1. Maintaining the health and wellbeing of our employees and community;
  2. Maintaining business continuity

Our teams are working tirelessly to deliver COVID Safe plans, workforce segregation, and risk assessments, ensuring our key business and safety priorities are met.

We maintain consistent, clear communications with all persons involved with the business, and continue to follow advice from the Australian Government Department of Health.

Most importantly, we continue to support our employees through a health and wellbeing programme, ensuring all LPG employees have access to dedicated resources should they wish to seek consultation.

Through the concerted efforts of our people, our growers, customers and partners, we have demonstrated resilience to prosper during this time.

While many hurdles have been faced, new opportunities have arisen. Our ability to mobilise, communicate, and work together has been outstanding. More efficient and safer business processes have been implemented, better ways of working remotely have been established, and a heightened focus on innovation, technology, and creativity have presented.

While the immediate and long term effects of the coronavirus remain uncertain, what is certain, is that our industry and company continue to adapt to rapid change, work together, and evolve in the process, ensuring the health and wellbeing of our people and business continuity remain our priority.
